phoolon ki tarah lab khol kabhi
khushboo ki zabaan mein bol kabhi

alfaaz parakhta rehta hai
aawaaz hamaari thol kabhi

anmol nahi lekin fir bhi
pooccho toh muft ka mol kabhi

khidki mein kati hai sab raatein
kuch chauras thi, kuch gol kabhi

yeh dil bhi dost zameen ki tarah
ho jaata hai daava(or daama?) dol kabhi
