- Only achievement to account for this long weekend.
- John Grisham was the perfect author to cover this true life incident. His maiden venture into the land of non-fiction and investigative journalism. Covers in detail the (mis)trial of two jail inmates who came very close to the lethal injection, being wrongfully accused for murder.
- The book did drag in places and some of the accounts were too detailed and delved too deep into facts and criminal investigation.
- Appalling the way forensic pathology worked until 10 years ago. Pretty sure there were a lot more of such wrongdoings.
- Some detailed reports on prisons cells, death sentences and bad forensic evaluation and criminal interrogations.
- All in all, its Grisham, its got to be worth a read!
- Now, on to the next.....
