Oota from my hometown

For a small dinner party this weekend, my menu was typical Bengaluru fare. It read thus

Maddur vade with chutney
Bisibelebath with (cucumber/tomato/onion) raitha
Curd rice
Sandige(that's vadam for the tams)
Shavige payasa(vermicelli kheer)

(Sujatha Ramesh : Since you asked for my weekend updates as well as what was cooking in my kitchen, this is entirely aap ki farmaish! :)

Hi Mamatha

Welcome here. Can you please send me an email at altoidster@gmail.com, so I can fwd you the recipes? Thanks.

Also- I don't believe I have the recipe for benne biscuit. I know I posted one for khara biscuit a long time ago, is that what you're referring to?
