Oh, and Happy Gandhi Jayanti!

Monsoon Diary - Shoba Narayan. Chantilly branch has it :D
As a reward, I'd like for some Bhel please. Thank you very much! :)

My sixpence
india after gandhi , ramachandra guha
I can tell u what not to read :)
I am not sure, what genre u like, but u can definitely try
Half a Yellow Sun - it has good reviews everywhere
as a reward, i want u to tell me... your funkiest - light - humourous read so far.. that u r sure... i will enjoy :)
Rads - :D, Monsoon Diary is already done. Shantaram- ask SK about how it is/was :D. Last Mughal, I realized I'd tried and never finished, just like Shantaram.
btw : Both the latter are humongous books, make for good headrests ;)
But you still do get bhel. So let me know.
Seren- Placed a hold at library. Thanks. You forgot to tell me how you'd like to be rewarded :D
Veens- That was a great reco. Thanks. Its in my queue at the library. So in return I'd say my funkiest, humorous light read reco would be the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella. I didnt like her individual novels as much as Becky Bloomwood and the Shopaholic series. Give it a shot and let me know!
I dunno which genre of books you prefer, but if you like P.D. James and haven't read the Lighthouse, I'd recommend it! :)
Waaaah, I made a reco too, offline, I need my reward :--D
Mystic - :-) If you looked through my bookmarks I'm quite sure it gives a good idea of what books I read.
SK - Next time, suggestions over gtalk will not be entertained. Food will come your way for Halloween. Be warned! :D
my reco: vernacular..."sivakamiyin shabadam" kalki.
a box of Ferrero Rocher
you will not ever regret reading: The pillars of the earth by Ken follet.
the book is so awesome, i predict you will not be able to put in down during a week.
i will definitely :) I m actually trying to get myself a copy... Will let you knw!!
